Description
The Jesness Behaviour Checklist (JBC) is an 80-item scale measuring 14 bipolar behavioural tendencies among adolescents against a large delinquent sample. The JBC consists of two parallel forms: an Observer Form for ratings by teachers, probation or correctional officers, counsellors, therapists, etc; and a Self-Appraisal Form for self-evaluation.

Paper and Pencil (hand scored)
The JBC can be scored and administered quickly and easily using hand score Self-Appraisal and Observer Forms. The respondent reads the 80 JBC statements from the Item Booklet and marks responses directly on the hand score Form, allowing the Item Booklet to be reused. The JBC hand score Form facilitates the computation of raw scores for the 14 scales without the need for scoring templates. The Jesness Behaviour Checklist Manual converts raw scores to T-scores or percentiles.
