Description
The Hare PCL:YV assessment helps identify potential patterns of cheating, fighting, bullying and other anti-social acts in youths. Early identification of these traits is critical, not only for the near future of these youths, but for their development into adulthood.
The PCL:YV may be used to help you understand the factors that contribute to the development of adult anti-social behaviour and psychopathy. Adapted from the Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised, the most widely used measure of psychopathy in adults, the PCL:YV uses an expert-rater format that emphasises the need for multidomain and multisource information.
The PCL:YV assessment measures interpersonal, affective and behavioural features related to a widely understood, traditional concept of psychopathy. The PCL:YV yields dimensional scores for clinical purposes, but it may also be used to classify individuals into groups for research purposes.
