We have much to be proud of. For 30 years, we have provided innovative assessment solutions for public safety, mental health, child development, education, speech and language professionals in Australia. We pioneered the shift to online assessments, improving efficiency. We adapted and standardised overseas assessments for Australia so data is now of a higher quality. One of these tests, the York Assessment of Reading for Comprehension (YARC), is the most widely used individual reading test in Australia. This test supports learning specialists’ decisions about critical interventions and accommodations for students.

More recently, PAA turned its focus to better supporting the needs of children struggling to learn. We understand how literacy problems can impact speech and language delay in school children. As a result, in 2018, we added evidence-based interventions to our list of products. These are suitable for use in schools with the support of specialist teachers and Speech Pathologists.
