We have much to be proud of.  For almost 30 years, we have provided innovative assessment solutions for public safety, mental health, child development, education and speech and language professionals in Australia. We pioneered the shift to online assessments, improving efficiency.  We have adapted and standardised overseas assessments for Australia so data is now of a higher quality.  One of these tests, the York Assessment of Reading for Comprehension (YARC), the most widely used individual reading test in Australia, supports learning specialists’ decisions about critical interventions and accommodations for students.

More recently, PAA has turned its focus to better supporting the needs of children struggling to learn.  We knew about those with literacy problems and came to recognise the significant impact speech and language delay can have on school children.  As a result, in 2018, we added evidence-based interventions to our list of products.  These are suitable for use in schools with the support of specialist teachers and Speech Pathologists.

We are continuing to add specialist resources.  As a result, PAA is excited to launch this new PAA Speech website featuring a range of assessments and interventions suitable for use by Speech Pathologists and other professionals, who are working to assist children with a variety of speech and language and learning issues.
